THE FAREWELL FOR OUR FINALISTS SCO

“The backbone of success is hard work, determination, good planning and perseverance.” The wise words of Mia Hamm. Well that was a little of what was being said at the phenomenon that took place on Saturday the 14th of October 2017. The Student Christian Organization Farewell. The extravagant institution of excellence, presented to the world an event like no other where a spiritual and inspirational deposit was being made into young people and helping them create a humble but reasonable confidence in their own powers so that when they set big goals; so that in the process of achieving it they become someone worth becoming because life is not about waiting for the storm to pass but learning to dance in the rain.

The Mission of the SCO is to equip young people through Christ and having Faith in God, for Faith consists in believing when it is beyond the power of reason to believe. To one who has faith, no explanation necessary but to whom without faith no explanation is possible.

The principal of this marvellous institution Mr Khumalo had the at most gratitude and indeering conception about the SCO. “The SCO is a pillar that we use as the school to instill, influence and infuse our culturing values such as discipline, responsibility, forgiveness, tolerance, love and good citizenship.”

The exquisite chairperson of the SCO Nande Magomba highly appreciated the 2017 finalists by giving them a great thank you. “I thank the Lord for bringing you guys to us, we are glad for having you guys. When you leave this institution please do not forget about God, your saver.” Said Nande. One of the phenomenal finalists Siphokazi Sosibo had to pass a message to her fellow finalists. “To my finalists, we have come a long way to get where we are and through it all we have stuck together although sometimes we would not see eye to eye, we would always find a way to reconcile. As we began to weed the last chapter of our lives here at Adams College, I’m wishing you guys all the best.” Said Siphokazi

There is no elevator to success. You have to take stairs and this is what these flamboyant students of Adams College will do for a brighter future.
